Osteopathy is a science that regroups manual therapeutic techniques and evaluations based on the principle that the body structure functions as a whole.
Osteopathy is an exclusive manual therapy that helps relieve specific joint blockage, allowing the body to function more efficiently.
Each perturbation in the functioning of the body will resonate in distance to other places through the body through the connective tissues: the facias.
Osteopathy works well with certain pains which have no clear origin, but that could cause some serious problems in an individual’s life such as: back pain, rib pain, tendinitis, muscles pains, headaches, migraines, etc.….
At Integrative Touch, we used our knowledge and education in Osteopathy in conjunction with other techniques to adapt our evaluations and manual therapy techniques to address the body as a whole.
Sabine has been using osteopathic techniques throughout her career. She has always worked with osteopathic mentors in France as well as in the US, which has enabled her to further develop her techniques and treat patients more effectively. Sabine was trained in Osteopathy at the CETHOM (osteopathic school in France). She has continued to develop her Osteopathic techniques by getting a certification in Cranio Sacral Therapy at the Upledger Institute in the US.
